... Just a couple of snaps from my little trip to London. The first two were taken in one of my favourite places ever, Camden. I'm glad to see part of the market has been rebuilt after being set alight. It was better than ever, I always enjoy a trip there and never leave empty handed.
Once again, I got quite a few nice things but my favourite has to be the - *coughs* fake - Vivienne Westwood orb bag.
Black lace leotard, leopard leotard, longsleeved cream tunic, studded shorts, stacked bracelets, stacked rings and black heeled 'August' shoe boots - All Topshop Studded handbag - Alexander Wang Style A to Zoe - Rachel Zoe
Gold triangle earrings - Urban Outfitters
I'm in love with all these items, just need the £££ to buy them... x
These pictures are of my cousin modelling the dress I made for art.. It's only the second full outfit I've made before. The first being one from barbie dolls sprayed hot pink, I'd post a picture but I don't feel it fully deserves one as I didn't make it from scratch.
The idea behind this is that it's a costume for a ballet dancer or figure skater. And the theme is obviously inspired by Peacocks. I've always thought they were intriguing creatures but I had second thoughts about making this when I found out Peacocks are said to be very bad luck and having their feathers in your own home is even worse. So I was worried after buying 100 of them on eBay!
The whole garment is handsewn, thanks to the sewing machine breaking before I'd even started. I'm really pleased with how it turned out though. Won't know the grade until August or later but I'll keep you updated.
